HOW TRUE IS

Pride one word but different meanings, you might ask yourself am I proud?…should I be proud?…is pride good?, the answer to all three questions is yes!, if your pride is a reflection of true confidence and not vain.

it can be said therefore that there is similarity and yet dissimilarity between confidence and pride…as said earlier “pride one word but different meanings”…a word said but yet expressed in different ways.

If your pride is a reflection of vain ego…expressed by arrogance, the answer then is no! you shouldn’t have such pride…and always remember arrogance and pride will make you fall…Proverbs 16:18.

This is one of many scriptures warning us to be wary of pride.

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall

Proverbs 16: 18 KJV

So be proud of who you are! let your pride be a reflection of true confidence in your abilities…be appreciative of your God given gifts…have dignity for you are royalty.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

1 Peter 2: 9 RSV

So do showcase true confidence & sincere pride at all times.
